I was born in Sargodha, Pakistan. I qualified as a chartered certified accountant in the UK system, built Bestax into an accounting, tax and advisory firm in Dubai, then moved my life to Mississauga, Canada. Bestax now operates its Canadian practice there, Bestax Accountants. One firm, two countries. Teams on the ground in both, and I set the direction.

That path is the reason my work looks the way it does. Every big financial mistake I help people avoid happens between two countries: the company opened in the wrong place, the move made before the tax was checked, the structure that made sense until the family relocated. I have lived between two countries for most of my career. It is the one place I am most at home.
